The KENNAMETAL 3658865 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for material removal in non-ferrous metal applications. It features a 1 inch cutting diameter, a 1.5 inch length of cut, and a 4 inch overall length with a 1 inch straight cylindrical shank. The three-flute, right-hand spiral design runs a high helix angle of 37 degrees, promoting efficient chip evacuation and reducing built-up edge on aluminum and other non-ferrous workpieces. The bright uncoated finish is standard for this submicron carbide grade. It is single-end and center-cutting, suitable for plunge entry as well as peripheral milling. Machinists and CNC operators in production and job-shop environments install this tool in hydraulic or collet-style toolholders.
This end mill is designed for roughing operations on non-ferrous metals, including aluminum alloys and similar materials where sharp, uncoated carbide outperforms coated alternatives.
