The KENNAMETAL 3639877 is a solid carbide turning insert in the DCMT3252MP configuration, grade KCP25, with a multilayer MTCVD-applied TiCN and Al2O3 coating. It features a 55-degree diamond (rhombic) shape with a positive rake angle of 12 degrees and a 7-degree relief angle, making it well-suited for moderate material removal rates where both wear resistance and toughness are required. The insert measures 11.63 mm (0.9156 inches) in length with a 3/8-inch inscribed circle and a 1/32-inch corner radius. It carries two cutting edges and uses a screw-on holding method.
