The KENNAMETAL 3352775 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill engineered for finishing operations in hard materials. It carries a 3/4 inch cutting diameter, a 0.04 inch corner radius, and six right-hand spiral flutes ground from ultra fine grain carbide stock. The AlTiN PVD coating provides thermal resistance and wear protection during high-speed cutting in hardened steels and other difficult workpiece materials. At 5 inches overall length with a 2.5 inch reach, this stub-length tool is designed for rigidity while maintaining extended-reach capability. Machinists and CNC programmers working in mold, die, and precision component shops will find this tool suited to demanding finishing passes.
This end mill is intended for finishing cuts in hard materials, designated by the H material application code in the KHDA series. The close pitch, right-hand cutting direction, and medium helix style contribute to surface finish quality in tough alloys. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 3/4 inch in diameter and is compatible with HC 1/2 to HC 1 1/4 hydraulic sleeves with inch bores, HC 20M to HC 32M hydraulic sleeves metric with inch bores, and HC-HSK Form A toolholding systems. This is a single-end, non-centercutting tool without a chipbreaker, configured specifically for peripheral finishing rather than plunge entry.
Designed for use with HC 1/2 to HC 1 1/4 hydraulic sleeves with inch bores, HC 20M to HC 32M hydraulic sleeves metric with inch bores, and HC-HSK Form A toolholding systems. Intended for hard material workpiece applications in the KENNAMETAL KHDA series.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before loading or removing the tool. Seat the shank fully and evenly in the toolholder before torquing the retention mechanism according to the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Do not use this non-centercutting tool for direct plunge entry into solid material.
