The KENNAMETAL 2403016 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding machining environments. Built to Series AADF specifications, this tool features a 0.75-inch diameter cutting face, a 1.5-inch length of cut, and a 45-degree helix angle that promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. With two flutes and a right-hand spiral configuration, it delivers clean, aggressive material removal on a wide range of workpiece materials. The K600 carbide grade provides the hardness and wear resistance needed for production-level use. Machinists and CNC operators working in job shops or manufacturing facilities will find this end mill well suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling operations.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills where a 0.75-inch shank is required. Its 4-inch overall length and regular-length classification make it a standard fit for most vertical machining center setups. The centercutting geometry allows plunge entry into the workpiece, expanding its versatility across roughing and finishing applications. The bright, uncoated finish is appropriate for use with a wide range of cutting fluids and is compatible with materials where coated tooling is not required.
Designed as a standard-shank solid carbide square end mill compatible with CNC machining centers and manual mills accepting a 0.75-inch straight shank toolholder. Part of the KENNAMETAL AADF series.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Secure the shank fully within the toolholder to the minimum insertion depth specified by the toolholder manufacturer before tightening. Verify spindle speed and feed rate parameters against the K600 carbide grade recommendations for the target workpiece material before cutting. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or wear before each use, and replace the tool if edge integrity is compromised.
