The KENNAMETAL 2229655 is a CNMG431MS KC5025 grade solid carbide turning insert designed for external and internal material removal on CNC and conventional lathes. Coated with TiAlN via a PVD process, this insert carries Kennametal KC5025 grade characteristics that balance wear resistance and toughness across a broad range of workpiece materials. The 80-degree diamond (rhombic) insert shape provides a strong cutting edge geometry suited for roughing and medium machining operations.
