The KENNAMETAL 2203579 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for high-performance hole-making in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. At 7.10 mm in diameter with a 140-degree point angle, this drill is optimized for fast penetration and self-centering entry without a pilot hole. The TiAlN coating extends tool life by resisting heat buildup at high cutting speeds. Coolant-through capability allows internal delivery of cutting fluid directly to the cutting edge, reducing thermal stress and improving chip evacuation in deep-hole applications. The web-thinned, parallel-web geometry reduces thrust force and improves chip flow. Material grade KC7315 makes this drill suitable for demanding production environments.
