The KENNAMETAL 2047424 is a replaceable drill tip in the KSEM modular drilling system, designed for high-productivity hole-making in steel and similar P-category workpiece materials. Built from fine-grain solid carbide and coated with TiAlN via a PVD process, this tip delivers heat resistance and edge retention under demanding cutting conditions. The 140-degree point angle and HP insert geometry are suited for maintaining accuracy during entry and exit. With a cutting diameter of 0.781 inches (19.84 mm) and a functional length of 0.391 inches, this tip seats into a size 2 KSEM holder and is held in place by a clamp mechanism. Installation and replacement are performed by machinists and toolroom technicians working on CNC drilling operations.

This drill tip is intended for use in KSEM modular drill bodies with a size 2 insert seat. It performs in applications that include standard drilling, inclined surface exit drilling, and stacked-plate drilling.
