It measures 11.60 mm in diameter with an overall length of 118.00 mm (4.6457 inches) and a 140-degree point angle optimized for fast, accurate penetration with reduced thrust. The TiAlN coating improves heat resistance and extends tool life in high-speed applications. A web-thinned, parallel web construction reduces cutting forces at entry. Coolant-through capability allows internal coolant delivery directly to the cutting zone, making this drill well-suited for deep-hole and production machining operations. Installation and tool changes should be performed by qualified machinists with the machine in a fully powered-down and locked-out state per applicable OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Seat the straight shank fully and concentrically in the collet or chuck before tightening to the toolholder manufacturer's specified clamping procedure. When using the coolant-through feature, verify that the coolant supply pressure and flow rate are compatible with the spindle and toolholder system. Inspect the cutting edges and coating condition before each use and remove the tool from service at the first sign of chipping or excessive wear.
