The KENNAMETAL 1950382 is an indexable boring bar designed for precision internal turning operations on CNC lathes and machining centers. Built with a solid carbide shank and steel head, this right-hand-cut toolholder accepts WP-style inserts secured by screw clamping. It features a 3-degree lead angle with neutral rake geometry, a minimum bore diameter of 0.347 inches, and an overall length of 6 inches. Coolant-through capability via a 0.093-inch coolant hole diameter supports chip evacuation and thermal management during tight-bore applications. This bar is installed and set up by machinists and tooling technicians working in precision machining environments.
This boring bar is suited for small-diameter internal boring where access and rigidity are critical. The 5/16-inch shank diameter and 0.347-inch minimum bore capability make it appropriate for fine-bore work in both production and job-shop settings.
