The KENNAMETAL 1939528 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit engineered for high-performance drilling in demanding production environments. At 9.70 mm in diameter with a 140-degree point angle and TiAlN coating, this drill is built for extended tool life when cutting through steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum and non-ferrous materials. The web-thinned, standard point reduces entry thrust and improves centering at the start of cut. With an overall length of 4.06 inches and a flute length of 2.40 inches, it fits standard toolholding with a 10 mm straight cylindrical shank. Right-hand spiral flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation. Coolant-through capability supports high-speed machining cycles where heat management is critical.
This drill is suited for CNC machining centers and drill presses in industrial and job-shop settings where consistent hole tolerance and tool longevity matter. The KC7315 material grade and DIN 6537L specification place it in the high-performance tier for production drilling of ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces.
