The KENNAMETAL 1913598 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill designed for high-performance hole-making in demanding production environments. It measures 12.50 mm (0.4921 inches) in diameter with an overall length of 124.00 mm (4.8819 inches) and a flute length of 77.00 mm (3.0315 inches). The 140-degree point angle and web-thinned tip reduce entry thrust and improve centering on hard materials. A TiAlN coating provides thermal resistance and extended tool life at elevated cutting speeds. This drill is suited for machinists, tool-and-die trades, and CNC operators working in high-volume or precision drilling applications.
The 1913598 is built for cutting steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, and other non-ferrous materials. It follows DIN 6537L specification, making it a recognized standard in industrial and aerospace machining environments. The straight cylindrical shank measures 14.00 mm (0.5512 inches) in diameter with a shank length of 45.00 mm (1.7717 inches), fitting standard drill chucks and collet holders used in CNC machining centers and manual drilling machines. Maximum drilling depth is 60.00 mm (2.3622 inches). The coolant-through design supports internal coolant delivery for chip evacuation and heat management during deep-hole drilling operations.

Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully stopped and the machine in a locked-out state per applicable machine safety procedures. Confirm chuck or collet bore matches the 14.00 mm shank diameter before seating. When using coolant-through capability, verify that the machine spindle and toolholder support internal coolant delivery before activating coolant flow. Inspect the cutting edge and coating condition before each use and replace the drill if chipping or coating wear is visible.
