This collet chuck is intended for use in machining centers equipped with CAT40 spindle interfaces. Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Power down and lock out the machining center spindle before inserting or removing the chuck. Use the appropriate ER16 collet wrench and spanner to torque the collet nut — do not use impact tools on the collet nut. Verify coolant port alignment with the spindle interface before running coolant-through operations.
