It features a 35-degree diamond (rhombic) shape, a neutral hand orientation, and a positive rake and side clearance geometry suited for finishing and light machining operations. The insert measures 16.61 mm in length with a 3/8-inch inscribed circle and a 0.0039-inch corner radius. It uses a screw-on holding method and delivers two cutting edges per insert. Licensed HVAC and metalworking machinists, CNC turning center operators, and tool-crib technicians specify this insert for tight-tolerance external and internal turning passes.
