The KENNAMETAL 1865870 is a round carbide profiling and turning insert in the RCMK152 K-LOCK series, grade KC5010 with an AlTiN PVD coating. It features a 3/16-inch (0.1875 inch decimal) inscribed circle, a 0.0938-inch corner radius, and a 0.2510-inch thickness. The round shape (360-degree included angle) and positive rake geometry make it well suited for continuous and light interrupted cuts across a wide range of workpiece materials. It is installed and serviced by CNC machinists and toolroom technicians on lathes and turning centers equipped with K-LOCK style toolholders.

This insert is designed for profiling and turning operations. Installation Notes

Inspect the pocket and seating surface for chips or debris before each insert index. Handle carbide inserts with care to avoid chipping the cutting edges during installation.
