The KENNAMETAL 1849059 is a carbide profiling and turning insert in the Top Notch series, designed for high-performance metal cutting on CNC lathes and turning centers. It carries the KC5010 manufacturer grade with an AlTiN coating applied via PVD process, delivering wear resistance and thermal stability across a broad range of workpiece materials. The insert features a parallelogram shape with a 55-degree included angle, a 0.40 mm corner radius, and a negative rake geometry.
