Installation is performed by a machinist or CNC operator. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before seating or indexing inserts. Use the appropriate KENLOC clamp hardware and torque the clamp screw to the toolholder manufacturer specifications — do not over-torque, as this can crack the insert. Inspect the pocket and locating pin for wear or debris before seating each new cutting edge.
