The insert carries a TiAlN PVD coating and a KC5010 grade designation, making it suited for demanding interrupted-cut and high-speed turning applications where wear resistance and edge integrity are critical. The cutting geometry is left-hand orientation with a 1.98 mm cutting width, a maximum depth of cut of 2.39 mm, and a positive rake angle of 10 degrees. This insert is intended for use in metal-cutting environments where tight-tolerance grooving is required on ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials.
