Manufactured in the NAS3L8 style with a KC5025 grade carbide substrate, this insert carries a PVD-applied TiAlN finish that extends tool life in both ferrous and non-ferrous threading operations. It targets Stub Acme thread forms at 8 threads per inch with a 29-degree included angle, and handles both internal and external thread profiles in a single left-hand insert geometry. The cutting tip measures 0.0476 inches wide, and the insert thickness is 0.1949 inches.
