The KENNAMETAL 1796529 is a solid carbide threading insert designed for cutting Stub Acme thread forms on both internal and external applications. It carries the KC5025 grade designation with a PVD-applied TiAlN finish, which provides wear resistance and thermal stability during threading operations. Built to NAS style geometry in Insert Size 3, it is part of the Kennametal Top Notch series. The 29-degree included angle matches the Stub Acme thread standard, and the left-hand insert hand designation makes it suitable for left-hand thread cutting. This insert is installed and used by machining professionals, CNC operators, and toolroom technicians working on lathes and turning centers.
This insert is suited for threading applications where Stub Acme thread forms are required, including production and maintenance machining environments.
