The insert is PVD-coated with a TiN/TiCN/TiN multilayer finish applied over the solid carbide substrate. It is held in the tool body by screw clamping and is suited for trades and shops running precision milling on a production or job-shop basis.
This insert is intended for milling applications in steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium — ISO material groups P, M, and S. Inspect the insert pocket and seating surfaces for chips or debris before each insert change.
