Manufactured from solid carbide in grade KC5025 with a PVD-applied TiAlN coating, this insert delivers consistent tool life and dimensional accuracy when threading internal bores to ISO standards. The 1.00 mm pitch designation makes it suited for fine metric threading applications. With a 1/4 inch inscribed circle and 3.04 mm (0.1260 inch) thickness, the 1679776 seats into compatible 11NR-style toolholders. This insert is used in internal threading operations on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces where ISO metric thread forms are required. The CB chipbreaker geometry promotes chip control in through-bore and blind-bore threading.
