The KENNAMETAL 1541498 is a straight-flute hand tap designed for cutting 8-32 UNC internal threads to a bottoming chamfer in a right-hand direction. The tap features four flutes, a thread limit of H3, and a Class 2B fit, making it appropriate for standard-tolerance threaded fastener applications. With an overall length of 2.13 inches and a thread length of 0.75 inches, it is sized for compact workpieces where thread engagement depth must be maximized near the bottom of a blind hole.
