The KENNAMETAL 1528343 is a DFT-series indexable insert drill designed for general-purpose drilling operations in metal cutting applications. The body accepts two DFT05T3 inserts and delivers a maximum drill depth of 2.85 inches at a 2.5xD depth-to-diameter ratio. The drill operates with a 28.6 mm nominal diameter and a 1-1/4 inch straight shank with Weldon flat and flange features for secure tool holding. Coolant is delivered through the tool via axial concentric entry, with additional threaded coolant ports at the shank end and body side.
