The KENNAMETAL 1329354 is a replaceable-tip drill body engineered for precise hole-making in metal fabrication and machining applications. It accepts KSEM0906 insert tips at an Insert Seat Size 4, enabling fast tip changes without removing the body from the spindle. The drill supports a diameter range of 23.02 to 23.52 mm (0.9063 to 0.9260 inches) and reaches a maximum drill depth of 120 mm (4.72 inches), corresponding to a 5xD depth-to-diameter ratio. Through-coolant delivery via a 3.50 mm (0.1378 inch) coolant hole keeps the cutting zone clear and extends insert life during deep-hole operations. Overall length is 228.6 mm (9 inches).
This drill body is suited for production machining environments where consistent bore diameter and high-volume throughput are priorities. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 25.40 mm in diameter and 76.20 mm (3.00 inches) in length, fitting standard ER or hydraulic chuck toolholders common in CNC machining centers. It is typically installed by machinists, toolroom technicians, and CNC operators working in job shops, aerospace, automotive, and general metalworking facilities. The KSEM series is designed for drilling steel, cast iron, and similar ferrous workpiece materials.
Compatible with KSEM0906 series replaceable drill tips at Insert Seat Size 4. Part of the KSEM drill body series. Shank diameter of 25.40 mm fits toolholders designed for straight-cylindrical shanks in that size range.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by qualified machinists or CNC toolroom personnel with the spindle fully stopped and the machine placed in a safe, locked-out state. Confirm toolholder bore and drawbar specifications match the 25.40 mm straight-cylindrical shank before mounting. Insert tips must be seated fully and secured per the manufacturer torque guidelines for the KSEM seat system before running the spindle. Verify coolant supply connections are active and delivering adequate flow before commencing deep-hole drilling cycles.
