The KENNAMETAL 1235265 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit in wire gauge size 21 (0.1590 inches), designed for precision hole-making in demanding materials. It features a 130-degree standard point angle with web thinning for improved penetration and reduced thrust. The TiAlN coating provides heat resistance and wear life in abrasive and high-temperature cutting conditions. The three-flute design improves chip evacuation compared to standard two-flute geometry. With an overall length of 2.9100 inches and a flute length of 1.3800 inches, this drill is built to DIN 6537L specification. It is installed by machinists and tool-and-die professionals working in production and maintenance environments.
This drill is intended for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and manual machines where small-diameter precision holes are required. Primary workpiece materials include cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous alloys, and high-temperature alloys. The straight cylindrical shank measures 3/16 inch (0.1875 inches) in diameter, making it compatible with standard collet chucks and drill chucks across that size range. The right-hand spiral flute configuration is standard for conventional clockwise-rotation spindles. Maximum drilling depth is rated at 1.1300 inches.
Designed for use in applications involving cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous materials, and high-temperature alloys. Fits standard collet chucks and drill chucks accepting a 3/16-inch straight shank. Suited for CNC and manual spindles with right-hand rotation.
This drill is installed by machinists in CNC or manual drilling operations. Verify that the spindle and workholding are fully secured before engaging the spindle. Use appropriate cutting fluid or coolant where workpiece material and machine setup allow, noting this drill does not have through-coolant capability. Inspect the cutting edges before each use and replace at first sign of chipping or excessive wear to maintain hole tolerance.
