The KENNAMETAL 1191460 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for precision hole-making in demanding industrial and machining applications. Built to DIN 6537L specification, this right-hand cutting drill features a 14.00 mm diameter, a 130-degree standard point angle, and a web-thinned, tapered web configuration that reduces thrust and improves chip evacuation. Three regular spiral flutes promote efficient chip removal during drilling operations. The bright, uncoated finish and K10 carbide grade make this drill well suited for high-productivity environments where dimensional accuracy is critical. It is installed and operated by machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and CNC operators.
This drill is intended for use on cast iron, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals, and high-temperature alloys. Its straight cylindrical shank seats directly into standard drill chucks and collet holders compatible with 14 mm shank diameter tooling. The 60.00 mm maximum drilling depth and 77.00 mm flute length make it appropriate for jobber-depth through-holes and blind-hole applications on machining centers, CNC mills, and drill presses in manufacturing and production environments.

This drill is installed by machinists and CNC operators and should be secured in a properly sized collet or chuck before powering the spindle. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning production to preserve hole tolerance and tool life. Apply appropriate cutting fluid for the workpiece material unless operating in a dry-cutting setup specified for this grade. Inspect the cutting edges and web area for chipping after heavy use, as solid carbide tools are brittle and should not be used in setups with excessive vibration or unsupported workpiece conditions.
