The KENNAMETAL 1191450 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for precision drilling in demanding industrial and machining applications. Built to DIN 6537L specification, it features a 10.50 mm diameter, a 130-degree split point, and a three-flute spiral configuration that promotes efficient chip evacuation and improved hole quality. The web-thinned, tapered web design reduces entry force and helps maintain center stability at the start of a cut. At 118.00 mm overall length with a 71.00 mm flute length, this drill is suited for through-hole and moderate-depth drilling operations where dimensional accuracy and tool life are priorities.
This drill is intended for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and automated production environments handling cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous materials, and high-temperature alloys. The straight cylindrical shank with a 12 mm diameter accepts standard collets and drill chucks without modification. The bright uncoated finish and K10 carbide grade make it a reliable choice for non-ferrous and abrasive workpiece materials where coating adhesion or thermal sensitivity would be a concern. Maximum drilling depth is rated at 56.00 mm.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct tooling selection for CNC machining centers, drill presses, and production drilling setups requiring a 10.50 mm solid carbide jobber drill with a straight shank per DIN 6537L. Rated for cast iron, aluminum and non-ferrous, and high-temperature alloy workpiece materials as specified by the manufacturer.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by qualified machinists or tooling technicians with the machine powered down and locked out per applicable lockout/tagout procedures. Ensure the collet or drill chuck is clean and properly rated for the 12 mm shank diameter before securing the tool. Verify spindle speed and feed rate are appropriate for the workpiece material and drill diameter before commencing operation. Do not use this drill for coolant-through applications, as this tool is not rated for internal coolant delivery.
