The KENNAMETAL 1191433 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill designed for precision hole-making in demanding materials. The 7.00 mm cutting diameter pairs with a 130-degree split point and web-thinned geometry to deliver clean entry and reduced thrust force. Three regular spiral flutes evacuate chips efficiently, keeping the cutting zone clear during extended runs. The straight cylindrical shank measures 8 mm in diameter, making it compatible with standard drill chucks and collet holders. Built to DIN 6537L standards, this drill is intended for use by machinists, toolroom technicians, and production drilling operations requiring tight diameter tolerances.
This drill is suited for production and job-shop applications involving cast iron, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals, and high-temperature alloys. The bright uncoated finish and K10 carbide grade are well matched to non-ferrous and cast materials where coating adhesion or heat buildup is less of a concern. The tapered web configuration and web-thinned point help maintain accuracy in both manual and CNC-controlled drilling setups. Maximum recommended drilling depth is 43.00 mm, keeping it within the effective flute length for reliable chip clearance.

Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or toolroom personnel familiar with carbide tooling. Secure the shank fully in a properly sized chuck or collet before operation and verify runout before beginning a cut. Carbide drills are brittle compared to high-speed steel — avoid side loading, interrupted cuts without proper setup, or re-chucking at an angle.
