Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician with the machine in a locked-out, de-energized state. Seat the insert fully against all toolholder pockets before tightening the clamping screw; use the torque value specified by the toolholder manufacturer. Inspect the insert seat and clamping screw for wear or debris before each insert change. Never run a visibly chipped or cracked insert, as carbide failure at speed presents a serious safety hazard.
