The KENNAMETAL 1183267 is a solid carbide turning insert in the KENDEX series, designed for precision metal cutting operations including turning, facing, and boring. It carries the ANSI designation TPG434 and ISO code TPG220416, with an uncoated bright finish and K68 manufacturer grade. The triangular insert geometry provides three usable cutting edges with a positive rake and positive side clearance. At 22 mm in length with a 0.5-inch inscribed circle and a 0.0625-inch corner radius, it is engineered for high wear-resistance applications across a range of workpiece materials. Licensed machinists and CNC lathe operators are the primary installers of this insert.

This insert is suited for machining non-ferrous metals, superalloys, titanium, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum in both production and job-shop environments.
