The KENNAMETAL 1161363 is a solid carbide turning insert with a triangular (T) shape and KC850 manufacturer grade, designed for precision metal-turning operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. It features a CVD-applied multilayer coating of TiC, TiCN, and TiN that provides a balance of wear resistance and toughness across a range of workpiece materials. The insert has a neutral hand orientation, a 3/8-inch inscribed circle, a 1/32-inch corner radius, and a positive rake and side clearance geometry.
