Built from solid carbide, it accepts CP-style inserts secured by screw clamp holding and features through-coolant capability to manage heat and chip evacuation at the cutting zone. The bar carries a minimum bore diameter of 19.56 mm (0.770 inches), a 5/8-inch shank diameter, and an overall length of 254 mm (10 inches). A neutral rake angle and a -5 degree lead angle define the cutting geometry. Machinists and toolroom professionals working on CNC lathes and boring mills are the primary users of this toolholder.
This boring bar is suited for internal diameter machining on CNC turning centers and horizontal boring mills where left-hand toolholder orientation is required.
