Built to the E-MSCLP toolholder style, it features a right-hand cut orientation and a neutral rake angle of 0 degrees. The 3/8 inch (9.53 mm) shank diameter pairs with a 6.0 inch (152.4 mm) overall length to reach a minimum bore diameter of 0.480 inch (12.19 mm). A screw-type insert clamping method secures CP-style inserts firmly during interrupted and continuous cuts. Coolant-through capability via a 0.125 inch internal coolant hole supports chip evacuation and tool life in deep bore applications. Licensed machinists and CNC tool-crib technicians are the primary users of this toolholder.
This boring bar suits precision internal diameter finishing and semi-finishing in small-bore applications where rigidity and dimensional accuracy are critical.
