The KENNAMETAL 1152584 is a solid carbide indexable boring bar designed for internal turning and boring operations on CNC lathes and machining centers. Built to the E-CTFP toolholder style, it accepts TP-series clamp-held inserts and delivers a positive 5-degree rake angle for efficient chip formation. The 1/2-inch shank diameter and 5-inch overall length suit a range of small-bore applications. A built-in coolant-through channel with a 0.190-inch coolant hole diameter supports direct cutting-zone cooling, extending insert life and improving surface finish. Installation and tool changes are handled by machinists and CNC toolroom technicians.

This boring bar is suited for precision internal boring in both production and job-shop environments.
