Manufactured to the NR4062 style in the Top Notch series, it carries a K68 grade uncoated bright finish suited for machining cast iron, hardened steels, and abrasion-resistant materials where a coated insert would wear prematurely. The insert delivers a cutting width of 0.125 inches (3.18 mm) and a maximum depth of cut of 0.150 inches (3.81 mm), with a full-radius geometry and a corner radius of 0.063 inches (1.59 mm). Neutral rake geometry supports consistent chip control across a range of feed rates. This insert is used by machinists and toolroom technicians on production and job-shop turning equipment.
