The KENNAMETAL 1096087 is a right-hand indexable turning toolholder in the MCLN style, designed for use with CN-style negative-rake inserts. Built on the Kenloc platform, it uses a clamp-and-screw insert holding method that secures inserts firmly under the cutting loads typical in OD turning operations. The toolholder body is steel construction with a 0.625-inch shank width and a 0.630-inch shank height. At 4 inches overall length with a 1-inch head length, it fits standard lathe tool posts used in production and job-shop turning environments.
