Built from steel with a 1-1/4 inch (31.75 mm) shank diameter and 14 inch overall length, this toolholder accepts WN-style inserts secured by screw or clamp holding. The minimum bore diameter is 1.470 inches (37.34 mm), and the negative rake geometry at a -5 degree lead angle delivers stable, controlled cutting action in demanding bore finishing and roughing passes. Coolant-through capability supports chip evacuation and tool life in deep bore applications.
This boring bar is suited for production and job-shop turning operations where consistent bore geometry and rigid toolholding are required. The A-UMWLN toolholder style is a standard configuration used in ferrous and non-ferrous material boring on horizontal and vertical turning centers.
