The KENNAMETAL 1095469 is a right-hand modular boring head in the Kenloc series, designed for precision single-point boring operations on machining centers and CNC lathes. Built to H32 system size, it accepts CN-style inserts held by clamp and screw, and features through-coolant capability to improve chip evacuation and extend insert life during deep or tight-tolerance bores. The head measures 2.0 inches in diameter (excluding insert) with a head length projection of 1.625 inches and a center-to-cutting-edge distance of 1.281 inches, giving machinists precise reach and clearance data for setup. Weighing approximately 1.097 pounds, it is suited for production environments where repeatability and quick head changes are required.
This boring head is intended for use in modular tooling systems configured to the H32 interface standard. Typical applications include finish boring of bores with a minimum diameter of 60.96 mm in ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials on horizontal and vertical machining centers. The through-coolant design makes it well suited for deep-bore applications or materials that generate heat and fine chips. It is installed and set up by machinists, tooling engineers, and CNC setup technicians in job shop and production machining environments.
Compatible with CN.. 432 inserts. Designed for use in Kenloc series modular tooling systems configured to H32 system size. Minimum bore diameter is 60.96 mm.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician with the machine spindle fully stopped and the machine placed in a safe, locked-out state before any tooling changes. Verify that the modular interface is clean and free of chips or debris before seating the boring head to ensure proper runout and concentricity. Insert clamping screws should be tightened to the tool manufacturer's specified procedure using calibrated torque equipment; do not over-torque or substitute fasteners. Confirm through-coolant passages are clear and that the machine coolant system is compatible with the tool before operation.
