The KENNAMETAL 1094872 is an indexable boring bar in the Kendex series, designed for internal turning and boring operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Built from steel with a 3/8 inch shank diameter and a 6 inch overall length, this right-hand holder accepts TP-style inserts secured by a clamp-style holding method. The positive rake geometry, with a 5-degree rake angle, reduces cutting forces and supports cleaner finishes in a range of bore diameters. It is installed by machinists and toolroom technicians performing precision internal machining work.

This boring bar is suited for small-bore internal turning applications, with a minimum bore diameter of 0.480 inches (12.19 mm). The coolant-through design, with a 0.125 inch coolant hole, supports chip evacuation and tool life in production environments. The A-CTFP toolholder style is a common configuration for tight-bore, right-hand turning operations on both manual and CNC equipment. Each unit ships individually and is intended for single-application use without multi-tool conversion.
