The minimum bore diameter is 2.75 inches and the overall length is 16 inches, making it suited for deep bore work where reach and rigidity are critical. Coolant-through capability with a 1/4-18 NPT coolant hole thread supports chip evacuation and thermal control at the cutting zone. The steel construction provides the stiffness required for consistent tool life at high material removal rates. Licensed machinists and CNC operators typically specify this bar for production turning on horizontal or vertical lathes.
This boring bar is configured for right-hand cutting and carries a 3-degree lead angle with a center-to-cutting-edge dimension of 1.375 inches.
