The KENNAMETAL 1026338 is a CAT40 taper shank end mill holder designed for secure tool retention in CNC machining centers. It accepts a 3/8 inch shank end mill and features through-coolant capability, routing coolant directly to the cutting zone for improved chip evacuation and tool life. The holder has a 1 inch nose diameter, a 2.5 inch projection, and is balanced to 12000 RPM, making it suitable for moderate- to high-speed milling applications. Machinists and CNC setup technicians install this holder in spindles equipped with a standard CAT40 interface.

This end mill holder is used in vertical and horizontal machining centers with CAT40 spindle tapers, common in job shops and production environments running ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
