The KENNAMETAL 1023575 is an indexable square-shoulder end mill built for precision milling operations in metal-cutting environments. Configured to the KICR100SP30 cutter style, it delivers a 1-inch cutting diameter with a maximum depth of cut of 0.34 inches (8.64 mm). The tool uses a screw-lock insert-holding method with a 0-degree lead angle, making it well suited for true 90-degree shoulder milling. It accepts two SPEB 322 inserts and has an overall length of 3.25 inches. The 0.75-inch cylindrical shank seats into standard tool holders used in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines. Weight is 0.47 pounds. Licensed machinists and CNC operators are the primary users of this toolholder.
This end mill is applied in square-shoulder face milling, slotting, and step-milling operations across ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces. The 2-flute configuration suits applications where chip evacuation and cutting force balance are priorities. With a shank length of 2.03 inches (51.56 mm) and a head length of 1.22 inches, the tool provides adequate reach for most standard machining setups without sacrificing rigidity. It is rated to a maximum spindle speed of 10,000 RPM, making it compatible with higher-speed machining center programs.
Designed for use with SPEB 322 indexable inserts. The 0.75-inch cylindrical shank is compatible with standard end mill holders and collet chucks sized for 3/4-inch tooling. ISO designation KICR100SP30.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer's toolholder torque and runout specifications. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a locked-out, de-energized state before changing inserts or mounting the tool. Confirm insert seating and screw torque before resuming cutting operations. Do not exceed the rated maximum spindle speed of 10,000 RPM.
