The KABA ILCO CORP B111-PT is a GM-compatible transponder key designed for professional automotive locksmiths and key technicians. Transponder keys carry an embedded chip that communicates with the vehicle's immobilizer system, allowing the engine to start only when the correct signal is recognized. This key is sold in a pack of five units, making it practical for shop inventory. It is intended for use across a broad range of GM vehicles from model years 2004 through 2009, spanning several GM brands and body styles. Proper programming to the target vehicle is required after cutting.
This transponder key applies to a wide range of GM passenger cars, SUVs, trucks, and minivans from the mid-2000s through 2009. It covers multiple GM divisions including Saturn, Pontiac, Cadillac, and Chevrolet. Typical installation scenarios include key duplication, lost-key replacement, and immobilizer system service. Licensed locksmiths and automotive technicians are the primary installers. The key blank must be cut to the correct bitting before programming.
Compatible with the following GM vehicles: Saturn 2007-2009 Aura, Outlook, Sky; Pontiac 2007-2009 G5, 2005-2007 G6, 2006-2009 Solstice, 2007 Torrent; Cadillac 2004-2009 SRX; Chevrolet 2007-2009 Avalanche, Equinox, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, Uplander Mini Van; Chevrolet 2004-2009 Aveo, Malibu, Malibu Max; Chevrolet 2006-2009 Cobalt, HHR, Impala, Monte Carlo.
Installation and programming should be performed by a licensed locksmith or qualified automotive technician with access to a compatible key programmer. The key blank must be mechanically cut to the correct bitting profile for the target vehicle before transponder programming is attempted. Disconnect or isolate the vehicle's electrical system only as required by the programming tool manufacturer's procedure. Always verify the transponder chip has been successfully programmed and recognized by the vehicle's immobilizer before returning the vehicle to service.
