The JONES STEPHENS c76925 is a 1-inch PEX-B crosslinked polyethylene tubing coil, supplied in a 100-foot length and color-coded blue for cold-water identification. Rated to a maximum working pressure of 160 psi and a maximum temperature of 203 degrees F, this tubing is built for residential and light commercial potable water distribution systems. The outside diameter measures 1-1/8 inches, and the flexible coil format allows for long runs with fewer fittings. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this product as part of new construction or retrofit plumbing systems where corrosion resistance and long service life are priorities.
This tubing is approved for potable water applications and is compatible with ASTM F1807 crimp-ring insert fittings and ASTM F2159 stainless-steel clamp fittings, as well as other standard insert-style PEX fittings. The blue color coding is a widely adopted convention for cold-water supply lines, making system identification straightforward during rough-in and future service. Typical applications include domestic cold-water supply distribution in residential homes, multi-family buildings, and light commercial projects where flexible piping reduces the need for elbows and joints through framing.
Approved for use with ASTM F1807 crimp-ring insert fittings and ASTM F2159 stainless-steel clamp fittings, as well as other standard insert-style PEX fittings. Meets ASTM F876, ASTM F877, ASTM E84, ASTM E119, and CSA B137.5 standards. Certified under NSF 14, NSF 61, and NSF 372 for potable water distribution.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the International Plumbing Code and applicable local codes. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the system before cutting or connecting tubing. Use the correct crimp or clamp tool rated for the fitting type being installed, and verify all connections with a go/no-go gauge before pressurizing. Avoid kinking the tubing during installation, and maintain minimum bend-radius requirements as specified by the fitting manufacturer.
