The JONES STEPHENS c76918 is a 3/4 inch PEX-B crosslinked polyethylene tubing coil, supplied in a 300-foot length and finished in white. PEX-B tubing is manufactured using the silane method, producing a flexible, durable pipe suitable for residential and light commercial potable water distribution. This coil is rated to 160 psi maximum working pressure and a maximum temperature of 203 degrees F, meeting the demands of domestic hot and cold water supply systems. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers. The tubing carries NSF 14, NSF 61, and NSF 372 listings, confirming it is approved for potable water contact and meets lead-free requirements.
This tubing coil is designed for use in residential and commercial potable water plumbing systems, including hot and cold supply runs, manifold distribution systems, and radiant applications where PEX-B is permitted by local code. The outside diameter is 7/8 inch, which is the standard OD for 3/4 inch PEX. It is compatible with F1807 crimp-style insert fittings, F2159 stainless clamp fittings, and other insert-style fittings conforming to those ASTM standards. The 300-foot coil length reduces the number of joints required on longer runs, minimizing potential leak points in the system.
Approved for use with F1807 crimp insert fittings and F2159 stainless clamp insert fittings. Meets ASTM F876, ASTM F877, ASTM F1807, ASTM F2159, ASTM E84, and ASTM E119 standards, and conforms to CSA B137.5. Suitable for any potable water plumbing application where 3/4 inch PEX-B tubing is specified.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the applicable plumbing code, such as the IPC or UPC, and all local amendments. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the system before cutting into existing lines. Use a dedicated PEX pipe cutter to produce a clean, square cut end before seating fittings. Avoid kinking the tubing during routing; use bend supports or bend guides at direction changes to maintain minimum bend radius.
