The JOMAR S701 1-1/4 is a Schedule 80 UPVC ball valve designed for solvent-weld (CxC) connections in plumbing, irrigation, and industrial piping systems. It features a large-port configuration, UPVC body and ball, and EPDM softgoods for reliable sealing in cold-water and chemical-handling applications. The valve is rated at 150 psi WOG at 73 degrees F and measures 4.49 inches from inlet to outlet. It is installed by licensed plumbers and pipefitters working on plastic piping systems where corrosion resistance and low-flow-restriction are priorities.
This valve is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, pool and spa systems, irrigation distribution, and chemical process lines where UPVC construction is required. The solvent-weld connection type makes it compatible with Schedule 80 PVC piping per ASTM F1970. It is a practical choice wherever a full-port, low-maintenance shutoff is needed on a plastic pipe run.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation ball valve for 1-1/4 inch Schedule 80 UPVC solvent-weld piping systems meeting ASTM F1970 requirements.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and ASTM F1970 solvent-cementing procedures. Depressurize and drain the piping system completely before cutting in the valve. Use the correct PVC primer and solvent cement rated for Schedule 80 UPVC and allow full cure time before pressurizing. Do not exceed the rated pressure or temperature limits of the valve.
