The JOHNSON LEVEL TOOL CS7 is a professional-grade carpenter's square built for layout and framing work on job sites. The body is constructed from 1/8-inch-thick black anodized aluminum that will not rust, making it durable in damp or outdoor conditions. Graduations and numbers are laser etched using an EZ Read format for fast, accurate reading in low-light or high-glare environments. The CS7 measures 16 inches on the tongue and 24 inches on the blade, giving carpenters and framers the reach needed for stair, rafter, and board calculations without a separate reference chart.
The CS7 is suited for residential and light commercial carpentry, framing, and finish work. It ships with octagon scales, rafter tables, brace tables, and board foot tables etched directly into the body, so the reference data is always at hand during layout. Framers, finish carpenters, and general contractors will find the large blade length useful for marking sheet goods, checking squareness on door and window openings, and laying out stair stringers.
Designed as a general-purpose layout square for residential and commercial carpentry and framing applications.
No power tools or fasteners are required to use this square. Before use, verify the square is true by checking a known 90-degree reference edge. Handle the anodized finish with care to avoid scoring, which can make graduated markings harder to read over time. Store flat to prevent warping.
