The JMF COMPANY 2529520209800 is a wrot copper 45-degree short-radius street elbow designed for solder-joint piping systems. Sized at 1-1/4 inches on both the male (FTG) and female (C) ends, this fitting is fabricated from C12200 phosphorus deoxidized copper to ASTM B75 material specification. The wrot construction delivers consistent wall thickness and smooth interior surfaces, making it well suited for tight-radius direction changes in both pressure and refrigeration piping. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this type of fitting where a street configuration eliminates the need for an additional short nipple between fittings, saving labor and reducing potential leak points in the assembly.
This elbow is rated for commercial, residential, and industrial plumbing applications as well as refrigeration system piping. The FTG x C end configuration allows the male end to insert directly into another fitting socket, which is common practice when making compact assemblies in confined mechanical spaces. The 45-degree angle suits branch offsets, equipment connections, and routing changes that do not require a full 90-degree turn. The refrigeration outer diameter of 1-3/8 inches is consistent with standard ACR tubing dimensions used in HVAC and refrigeration work.
Designed as an OEM-style wrot copper solder-joint fitting for use in residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing and refrigeration systems conforming to ASME/ANSI B16.22 and MSS SP-104 standards.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC refrigeration technician using standard copper soldering or brazing procedures. Shut off and depressurize the system completely and allow all piping to cool before cutting or fitting. Surfaces must be clean, deburred, and fluxed prior to soldering to ensure a proper capillary joint. Follow applicable local plumbing codes, IPC requirements, and ASME B16.22 guidelines for pressure ratings and joint preparation.
