The JJM BOILER WORKS nbt-400p is an acid condensate neutralizer box with an integrated pump, designed for residential and light commercial hydronic and high-efficiency heating system installations. The unit handles acidic condensate produced by condensing boilers and furnaces, neutralizing the pH before disposal to a remote drain. A built-in Little Giant condensate pump is included, providing an all-in-one solution that eliminates the need for a separate pump installation. The removable lid allows fast inspection and media maintenance without major disassembly. Rated at 400 MBH and 3 GPH, the nbt-400p is sized for mid-range condensing equipment loads.
The nbt-400p is suited for residential and light commercial installations where condensing boilers, furnaces, or combination systems generate acidic condensate that must be neutralized before entering a drain system. The floor-mounted, tank-style enclosure fits in mechanical room installations where space and serviceability matter. The unit also handles non-acidic air conditioning condensate, making it compatible with mixed-system mechanical rooms where both heating and cooling equipment are present. Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or boiler mechanics.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and new-installation solution for condensing boiler and high-efficiency furnace systems generating acidic condensate, rated up to 400 MBH and 3 GPH condensate flow.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician familiar with local plumbing and mechanical codes, including applicable IPC requirements for condensate disposal. Shut down and isolate all connected heating and cooling equipment before servicing or replacing media. Ensure the condensate pump discharge line is routed to a compliant drain location and that the power supply to the built-in pump is de-energized before any internal work. Replace pH Power Pellets media at intervals appropriate to system load to maintain effective neutralization.
