The JJM BOILER WORKS NB6 is a heavy-duty condensate neutralization kit designed for commercial HVAC and hydronic heating applications where high-efficiency, gas-fired appliances generate acidic condensate. The NB6 neutralizes the acidic condensate produced by condensing boilers, furnaces, and water heaters before it enters the drain system, protecting plumbing infrastructure and helping meet local wastewater discharge requirements. Rated for appliances up to 6,000 MBH input capacity, it handles a flow rate of 45 gallons per hour (GPH). Its compact footprint makes it a practical choice when floor space is limited in mechanical rooms.
The NB6 is part of the JJM BOILER WORKS NB-Series and is engineered for commercial installations of high-efficiency, gas-fired equipment including condensing boilers, condensing furnaces, and condensing water heaters. It is floor-mounted and connects via 1-inch inlet and outlet ports, making integration into existing condensate drain piping straightforward. This unit is particularly suited for larger commercial mechanical rooms where equipment totals approach or reach the 6,000 MBH threshold.
Suitable for use with commercial condensing boilers, condensing furnaces, and condensing water heaters rated up to approximately 6,000 MBH input capacity.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician familiar with condensate management systems. Shut down and isolate the appliance before connecting condensate drain lines to the neutralizer. Follow all local plumbing codes and the appliance manufacturer guidelines for condensate disposal. Verify that the neutralizing media is filled to the manufacturer-specified level before placing the unit in service, and establish a routine service interval to inspect and replace the neutralizing media as it becomes depleted.
